Weston Super Mare Muster
With locust on one end and Arnie on the other the fort was dominated by the PTA.
On the Sunday Arnie was taken by Gerard's at the end of the battle, this involved the gun going over the front of the 15m fortifications, this worked well.
the battle took place on the beach and the sand castle is being claimed as the largest ever built at 15m high and 100 m long with a moat around it 10,000 tonnes of sand was moved in its construction.
Black Dog II the new party tent made it out for the first time and worked very well, shame about the rain on the Monday.
Some of the Explorers scrubbed up very well.
1st Bradninch Explorer Scout Pack came along for the weekend, they were drilled by Charles Gerard's Regiment on Sunday morning.
